This will be the last social media report update until the end of next month. I have learned a lot from doing these articles as a weekly practice. Much of what the social media numbers mean is variable. It can have meaning at some time and other times none.
A lot of the true meaning lies behind the engagement happening on every piece of content, and the 1 to 1 interactions with the people you meet. This cannot be calculated. It would be like trying to calculate the human condition, it is when it is, and it isn’t when it isn’t. You just can’t put it on a chart like you can with your social media followers, the number of videos, and other variables. You can of course learn the psychology behind what makes people tik.
What I can tell you is that if you focus on your social media numbers in the way I am it will lead to hyper-focus. There are benefits from that focus.
Overall, the real value of social media is the experiences you have. What did you make? Who did you reach? What can you take away? Then repeat this every day. The key to all of this is adding something of value during these experiences.
This site is rooted in the occult and magick. Some magick as they say is about creating change in the physical world with your intention. Were you able to do that on some level? If you can say yes then you have had a successful social media experience.
This exercise was a great experience. It taught me that what I focus on will improve. But also at the same time, it consumes you. You can lose sight of things. Balance is needed. It is now the last day of January and I can conclude that you will see much change by the end of next month.

I was able to increase the followers by decrease my following while also maintaining a steady post schedule. This was roughly 2 to 3 posts a day. I was able to spend time during the week to remove dead accounts I was following. I also chose to remove accounts that were outside of the niche I am working in. I feel like this activity prompted the algorithm to treat the account differently maybe. A good week for Instagram.

I did the best on TikTok with 39 new followers from 21 videos. That’s almost 2 followers per video. Not bad. I started doing tarot video response readings. It works out really well when building community.
