Social Media Report April 2, 2021

This will be the last social media report for a few months. The reason is that comprehending these social numbers has become unwieldy. Don’t think this to be negative. The fact it is unwieldy is a positive thing. It means the profiles are growing beyond the point of being able to keep track of them.

It recently became challenging to track how many TikTok videos I have made. The platform does not show the number of videos you have. So, if you want to know how many, you need to count them by hand. After multiple attempts, I realized that I can’t count them reliably.

Knowing how many content pieces you have helps establish a ratio of how many followers you gain per content piece. A post, a tweet, a video, these are all content pieces. Knowing how many pieces of content you make helps you understand your growth on each platform.

Tracking your growth is helpful at first. However, once you have your strategies and routines figured out it becomes only a matter of consistency and execution. For March I kept stride. I posted on my platforms every day. I engaged where I was able to, and I reached out where I could. In the end, I saw significant growth compared to last month. TikTok was the most successful platform once again.

What I can tell you is that once you pass a threshold of growth on these profiles it becomes more about the interactions you have and the value you give through your content pieces, and the growth just happens organically. It becomes very simple. It all falls into consistency and execution.
