The Path and Tarot Suite

PathandTarot Suite Introduction

It’s weird how nature can help confirm your own intentions. Ever had something on your mind and the wind blew a certain way, and a crow fly’s down to perch itself on a fence. It looks directly at you and crows. All those things could just be coincidence, but at that moment your intentions connected with that sequence of events and it all made sense. It was as if the universe was giving you an answer through the wind and the crow. Something meaningful happened out in the world that was not connected to what was going on in your head. You never asked the wind or the crow for a sign, yet it happened, and it helped trigger something in your mind. Synchronicity was at play.

Path and Elemental Deck Web Guide

The Path and Elemental Guide

I was inspired to create this deck from my experience with the Golden Dawn teachings and working through an online Parapsychology diploma. Before making this deck I had an interest in learning about intuition and heightening my senses. The Golden Dawn material recommended card-guessing as a way to improve intuition. Further material from my online studies in parapsychology showed me the feasibility of testing myself for ESP.

The Path and Tarot Deck Card Spread

The Path and Tarot Card Spread

This card spread will help the new user of the Path and Tarot deck obtain excellent results from the cards.

The reading space must be large enough to contain nine tarot cards in a three by three matrix. To begin one must shuffle the deck very well. Simply overhand shuffling the deck is not sufficient for putting the deck in a random state. Clumps will form over time without a proper shuffle, and your readings will become ineffective. My suggestion is that before attempting this card spread take notes on shuffle methods from my article on shuffling your tarot cards.

Begin by cutting the deck once and drawing the top card. Place this card in the center of your reading space. This is the beginning card and represents the center of the intention or query you have.

The next card you draw is placed in any space above, below, or diagonally to your center card. In this way, you will be surrounding the center card with eight other cards. Keep drawing cards until you have created your three-by-three matrix.

About The Path and Tarot Deck

About the Path and Tarot Deck

The Path and Tarot deck is a unique creation that is rooted in the magical teachings of the Golden Dawn. To make this tarot deck I had to consider a handful of primary resources and make many artistic considerations.

The Golden Dawn teachings alone provide the knowledge to create a tarot deck. All the magical symbols and structure are contained in the Golden Dawn teachings. I gained a foundational understanding of the Golden Dawn model of the tarot and created my own version of it.
