Let’s Play Cultist Simulator

I like playing video games so lets play Cultist Simulator as a Real Occultist. After all, I am into the tarot and that’s pretty occult.

I find that whenever I use multiple tarot decks I begin to visualize the play space as a video game. It just so happens that the Cultist Simulator by Weather Factory is a great visualization of what goes on in my head. You could be asking was it the chicken or the egg that came first. Well, I have to admit that I didn’t start reading tarot cards seriously until 2018 (that’s when the game came out). So, I guess well never know.

In this video I won’t teach anything you don’t already know about the game. The whole purpose is to showcase my immediate experience with the game and that I don’t anything about it, at least not yet.

I haven’t beaten the game yet. I may not ever, and that’s ok. I won’t read a walk through on how to beat the game because I want to do it the old fashioned way.

My generation of video gamers never had the luxury of the internet. Occasionally we had magazines that revealed hidden things in games, that is if you could afford to buy a magazine as a kid. So, we beat games without any help. That’s how I am going to do it.

So, the second session. Not sure how well I am doing, but we will keep at it. I am doing this the old fashioned way. Just me and the game. No walkthrough or secrets. If you are looking for tips and tricks, this is not the video for you. I am playing this game as I would normally play it, figuring it out as I go.

Let’s Play Cultist Simulator Part 3

This is it, part 3 of me playing the Cultist Simulator as a real life Occultist. Is this a possible end to the game session? I won’t reveal that. But I did get a headset. I got it for menial employment, ya know, just like in the game. I’ll be using the headset to record myself too.

I am playing the game as I normally would without the camera. I haven’t beaten the game yet, and I haven’t read any walkthroughs. We are doing it the old fashioned way. It’s just me and the game.

Let’s Play Cultist Simulator Again

We are going to play the Occultist Simulator again, but this time as the Physician.

The cool thing about this game is that every time you loose you can restart the game from a different perspective based on your previous ending. In my case I died in the last play through, and the Physician who attended to my body found my occult materials and became absorbed in their mysteries.

This time I started as that same Physician who tried to unravel the mysteries of the occult. Will I create my cult or fail once more?
