Social Media Report January 24, 2021

In only its third week the social media report has taught me a great deal. By virtue of just looking at the numbers I have begun to understand what is behind them, people. Someone’s real attention and aspiration.

I have learned that the profile numbers don’t tell you about the engagement you get from other users. Profiles can have thousands of followers, but low engagement. At the same time other accounts can have a few hundred followers, and have high user engagement. This is important to understand because the goal of social media is to be able to interact with other’s content and have them interact with yours.

Trying to keep track of my social media profiles is an intriguing task. The data is more complex than I had realized. What should be considered, and how to look at it? What I can tell you is that I am not sure website visits factor into these results yet, and the Youtube profile is an anomaly. It shows your subscribers and the number of videos, but it does not show how many accounts you have subscribed to.

The Tarot of Loka

Tarot of Loka Unboxing

Most sources regarding the origin of the Ttarot agree that playing cards are apart of it. At some point in history, a deck of playing cards was expanded to include a set of 22 trumps. These were thought to be special cards with particular meaning within the context of the game. Over time, the 78 card deck became linked with occult interest. It was then more commonly used for divination and other spiritual means. The Tarot of Loka is a new take on an old-style that harnesses both the history of tarot gaming and occult history.

Ambient Card Spread With Crystals and Elements

Ambient Card Spread With Crystals and Elements

Charged crystal are added to Go board to create boundaries and allow the cards to fall into new patterns.

With an open board the reader (myself) is able to place the cards wherever they choose. The reader has to come up with an intuitive way to place the cards due to the presence of the crystals.

The elements on the cards are found in the teachings of the Golden Dawn. Earth, Water, Air, Fire, and Spirit. Like elements match, empowering elements match, sub elements (card with more than one element) allow multiple matches. Spirit is a wild card, it matches with anything. The sub element with spirit can create unique patterns due to high possibility of matches. These are the rules I use to craft the card spread as you see it.

One could scry into this pattern of elements. You could meditate on it. I will take you into the cards, watch and see.

To spice up the card spread I introduced some crystals to act as barriers for the reading. Not all the cards can connect due to the limitations the crystals create. This helps break up patterns and clump like cards together. The crystals are charged energetically and allow the cards to fall into particular places. Multiple streams of sound combat to reach a resolution. Let the ambient music wash over you.
