In this video we are going to be using my custom made elemental deck and the CBD Tarot deck on the Go board. I will be intuitively combining the use of them to create another unique card spread on a Go board. If you are curious about how this began you go learn more here.
The idea is to use the spaces on the Go board to place the cards. I will use pure intuition and pattern matching to know where to best place the cards.
I charged the decks overnight by sitting them on top of Tarot decks, Tarot Etteilla and Tarot Minchiate. The elemental deck sat on top of the drawn Etteilla Temperance card, and the CBD Tarot deck sat on top of the Minchiate Strength card. I placed some gemstones on top of the decks while they sat overnight. I threw those same gemstones on the board before we began. I did it to possibly see something… did we? Watch the video below.
The Path
My goal is to arrange the cards where they connect well. Same suits and elements match, elements that empower each other match. Using elemental dignities we can match fire with air, and earth with water due to the fact they empower each other. Fire with earth, and air with water are neutral. Water with fire, and air with earth weaken each other.
With that foundation, I can match the elemental cards easily to the counterpart Tarot elements. Spirit can empower any element or card, you could think of it as a wild card. The equivalent to spirit is the major arcana trumps in the Tarot deck. Spirit matches with itself and any other cards that already have a match.
I alternate from each deck drawing out one card at a time to fill the Go board. Set your intentions and see if the cards told you anything. I kept my intentions simple for the video. Show me a good card spread. I think we did well with the reading and I was happy with the result. I think gemstones did something don’t you think?
